From October 2026, DEFRA requires all permitted waste receiving sites in England to submit waste movement records digitally via the DWT API. Paper waste transfer notes become non-compliant. WasteGate generates and submits digital WTNs automatically as part of normal weighbridge operation — no separate compliance step.
